If you were wondering, the name “d-Formative” was originally inspired by the song “Deformative,” by the defunct DC-based band, Black Eyes. The letter “d” seems to come up often in my life, and “formative” can be defined a few ways...

- minimal language unit that has a syntactic function
- susceptible to transformation by growth and development

This website represents my current work as a print, web, and various media designer & developer based in Jamestown, NY.

I believe good design involves a blend of clear communication and creative expression. Every idea is a discovery that leads to a possible solution. Through my work I strive to gain a better understanding of the people around me, and ultimately have an impact on them.

Most of my time is spent drinking coffee and listening to records while creating and learning.
